The familiar rhythms of our lives have been overturned in this global health crisis. It that has touched every human life. Our hearts are with those of you who are putting your lives at risk to save ours, we can never thank you enough, May you stay safe, May you have everything you need to stay safe.
Those of us who are sheltering in place do our part by observing the safest guidelines, always thinking about our possible impact on others, and generously donating our time and financial resources. The deeper teachings of mindfulness offers a way to feel centered in peace, deep love, and profound wisdom in this storm of uncertainty, suffering and loss. Our local meditation community is meeting online on Monday evenings. Anybody is welcome to join us. Our practice together helps us remember that we can choose compassion and wisdom as our language and our guide though these difficult days. The very basis of mindfulness, that we are deeply connected to every living being, that everything changes, and that our experiences are human experiences, which connect us rather than divide us, have never been more needed, or seemed more true.
