This is incredibly inconvenient for our schedules, but then, so is chronic pain. The workshop format is based on a study in which participants found pain relief after practicing mindfulness for just a few days in a row. In addition to guided practice, I will talk a little about the science behind mindfulness and pain, how mindfulness can change the experience of physical pain. .
