Mindfulness may be the most powerful thing YOU can do to increase your overall well-being. It can help you manage stress, lessen chronic pain, sleep better, create healthy habits and experience more joy. Want to give it a try? This 6 week class will introduce a variety of practices, with just enough science to understand why. Why do those pesky thoughts keep circling around? Why do I overreact? Why do I wake up and worry? EVERYONE has tons of unhelpful thoughts and habits that could be better. Each class will include a limited amount of mindful yoga, appropriate for any level of fitness. This is a shortened version of the 8 week class, offered in the Winter. I have been teaching the 8 week, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Class since 2011.
