Winter Afternoons of mindfulness have become a tradition. Please come at noon if you are interested in beginning mindfulness meditation instructions. At 1 pm we being our silent practice, 45 minutes sitting alternates with 15 minutes walking. At 3 pm we play a recorded talk, usually by nationally known senior meditation teacher, and psychologist, Tara Brach. Join us for the entire afternoon or just a part. Enter or leave quietly any hour on the hour, or during a walking period. The schedule is below. We will have tea, chairs, and some cushions, please feel free to bring your favorite personal sitting gear. This is a wonderful opportunity to practice in silence with community, it is intimate, magical and supportive for everyone.
